From the Jewish massacres of 1190, the atrociousness of the Black Death, witch-hunting during the Medieval period right through to World War 2, fear and death have gripped the streets of Norwich for longer than we'd care to remember.
In this tour, we'll delve into the gruesome events that punctuated Norwich's history, focusing on the human-element as much as we can. How did the people of Norwich feel about the plague? Were they really scared of witches? And why did they drink so much darn beer?
